Learn to Ride

A week’s riding at the Domaine de Fraisse will give beginners the confidence to ride supervised on horse back throughout the grounds – even with little or no prior experience.

You will get to know your horse individually and develop a close relationship with it by the end of the week.

The first Sunday, you will be under the care of the Domaine’s full time riding instructor. You will learn how to put on the saddles and bridles and how to look after the horses. Your first day will be within the safety of the riding arena where your confidence and understanding of your horse will be built up, then you will be able to ride in liberty in the grounds with your tutor.

You can have additional lessons if you wish to perfect your skills and give you more self-confidence to conduct your horse. An extra lesson needs to booked one day in advance (from 16 euros – group lesson).

15 hours accompanied riding (half days: Sunday-Friday)
Tuition in the arena on the Sunday

If you want to fit in a few horse riding lessons within your stay, you have the opportunity to book individual or group lessons lasting an hour each.

Group lessons (min 4 people): 16€ p/h
Shared lessons (2-3 people): 24€ p/h
Individual lessons: 32€ p/h
